TreeSize Professional is a program that helps you manage disk space. Find out which folders take up most room on your hard drive and delete them, so you can thoroughly clean up your computer.
The interface of the program may seem overwhelming at first sight, but it's actually pretty simple to navigate through it.
A chart page is displayed on the left side of the screen, where you can view a list of files and folders stored on your hard drive (in a descending order, according to size).
Furthermore, you can view a chart (pie/bar chart, tree map), details, extensions, users, age of files, top 100 files and history of the currently selected directory.
For all content found in a specific folder, you can copy a chart to the clipboard, view names, size, total files and folders, last modification and access dates, permission levels, descriptions of each extension type and more.
In addition, you can filter searches (biggest, oldest, temporary, Internet, duplicate files with optional MD5 checksums, or files with long paths) or create a custom search on multiple drives, servers and Network Neighbourhood. Also, you can include or exclude particular files for scans, print and export results (as TXT, HTML, RTF, XLS, XML etc), change viewing mode (Size, Allocated Space, Percent, Wasted Size, CD/DVD Drive, File Count, and more).
The program uses a moderate amount of system resources, perfectly integrates in the context menu, comes with a well-drawn help file and didn't freeze or crash during our tests.
TreeSize Professional definitely proves itself as a reliable solution for finding out the files and folders with the largest size on your disk, and we strongly recommend it to all users.
